What is Corbin Up To

Here are a few questions from an interview with Corbin Bleu from writer Peter Hartlaub, Chronicle Pop Culture Critic, www.sfgate.com. I did not know this, but did you know that Bleu was on ER?

Q: You started acting at a young age. Do you remember being on “E.R.” in 1996?

A: Barely, but I do remember. I remember that George Clooney was awesome. … The whole episode involved our teacher letting us play with bats, so we all had to get rabies shots. The scene starts off on my face, wincing, and then it pulls back and you see that George Clooney is giving me a shot in my rear.

Q: Clooney was your doctor? You didn’t get Sherry Stringfield or Noah Wyle?

A: No, I got the man. Clooney himself. It was really cool. He was a nice guy.

Q: Is there any place you can go to escape the fans?

A: Definitely home. Home or a friend’s house. But to be honest, when it comes to that type of thing, I don’t get bothered. My thing is just ask politely. And if you’re going to walk up, wait until the meal is over, or just walk up politely. My only real pet peeve is when people take pictures from across the way. Just come up and ask me. I’m not going to say no.

Corbin Bleu Dreams About Godzilla?

Posted by chel | Club Corbin Bleu News | Saturday 21 February 2009 12:18 pm

www.movieweb.com, had an interview with Corbin Bleu. Here are some of the questions and answers.

The dance scene between Chad and Troy looked a lot of fun to film…

Corbin Bleu: We had an amazing time shooting that sequence in the junkyard. A guy called Chucky Klapow choreographed the dance and I think he did a great job because it really stands out in the movie. It was High School Musical like you’ve never seen before!

Why do the mini Troy and Chad pop up in that scene?

Corbin Bleu: When Troy and Chad were young boys, they used to hang out in the junkyard and pretend that they were superheroes, ninjas and spies. School is very stressful for them in their senior year, so they relive some of their childhood moments again, which is where the mini Chad and Troy come in. They were very cool!

What is your biggest dream?

Corbin Bleu: My biggest dream? Anything with Godzilla in it! No, in all honesty, I just hope to be able to accomplish a lot in my life – in all different forms. This project has been incredible and it’s a massive entity, but there’s still so much more to achieve.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

Corbin Bleu: That’s a long time away! I have no idea where I will be then. Maybe I’ll be a director? Maybe I’ll be on Broadway? For now, I’m going to chill out for a while and see what happens.

Do you get much time to date?

Corbin Bleu: Ha ha! Are you trying to find out if I have a girlfriend or something? The answer is no. I’m very single.

What kind of girls do you go for?

Corbin Bleu: I’m not too fussy. I like girls with a good sense of humour. Girls who are a lot of fun to be around.

Come on… tell us more!

Corbin Bleu: Well, I’m a very outgoing person so I like girls who are not afraid to be themselves. I’m not a shy person and when I hang out with a girl, I want to be able to talk to her. At the same time I like a girl I can have a conversation with – as opposed to me sitting there talking away because she won’t open her mouth. I like conversations and I’m a really big sucker for personality. That’s all!

I had not noticed this until now. Corbin Bleu is in Jordin Sparks video “One Step at a Time.” He is the boy pushing his little brother (?) on a skateboard. I was unable to get the video on here, but this page should have it one it. Click on Jordin Sparks at the bottom of the page above subscribe.

Corbin Bleu Can Ice Skate?

According to www.pressdemocrat.com, Corbin Bleu will be in the “High School Musical: The Ice Tour.”

The show will run “Feb. 25 and Feb. 27-March 1 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose and March 4 and 6-8 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. $16-$65. www.ticketmaster.com, (800) 745-3000 for San Jose;

(510) 625-8497 for Oakland.”

That would be interesting to see him on the ice.
