Biography
Corbin Bleu Rivers, who turned 19 in February is an actor, model, dancer, and singer. Basically, he can do it all. You may have seen Corbin in roles such as the films Catch That Kid, High School Musical, High School Musical 2, Jump In!, and Flight 29 Down.
Corbin, who was born in New York City is the son of Martha and David Reivers. His father is an actor. Corbin is noted as biracial, with his father being Jamaican American and his mother Italian American. Bleu has been a noted scholar of dance, where his main focus is on ballet and jazz.
Corbin is a graduate of Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. He has recently been accepted to Stanford University, one of the most prominent schools in the country, but he declined to attend due to his scheduling conflicts.
Bleu has been a model for such places as Target, Toys R US, and Tommy Hilfiger. He has also appeared on TV shows such as High Incident, and ER. He has also had very minor roles in movies such as Soldier, Family Tree, Mystery Men, and Galaxy Quest.
In 2004, he caught his big break with the lead role in Catch That Kid. After that he was signed to star in Flight 29 Down- a drama that is about a group of teens that become stranded on an island. He has had roles on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.
Most recently had played Chad in High Schook Musical, and also appears in Hannah Montana. Corbin has an album that was released in May of 2007.
