The website asked Corbin if he would be attending one of the up and coming Michael Jackson concerts.

“I would love to! I’m trying to go see one, but I’ll be filming The Beautiful Life, so I don’t know. Hopefully when there’s a break.”

I hope that Corbin will get to see Michael Jackson in concert,

Another Event

It looks like Corbin Bleu has been busy lately. On Tuesday night (June 2) Corbin Bleu attended

the LG Mobile Phones’ LG Xenon Splash Pool Party. It was for the Boys and Girls Club of America, according to http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com

It is great that he attends all these charity events.

Just Jared Jr. asked him about his new character Issac, on The Beautiful Life. “He definitely has the attitude and has the persona of a model. He can handle it and he knows that he can. He’s still on the back-burner when it comes to modeling. He wants to be able to make ends meet and make a living but I think his true passion is him having that double foot in the door type thing.”

JustJaredJr.com caught up with Corbin Bleu and asked him a few questions. Here are a few of the questions and answers.

On his character on the show: “I play Isaac. He’s actually a musician but he does the modeling thing to make ends meet. He definitely has the attitude and has the persona of a model. He can handle it and he knows that he can. He’s still on the back-burner when it comes to modeling. He wants to be able to make ends meet and make a living but I think his true passion is him having that double foot in the door type thing.”

On possibly playing an instrument on the show: “I’m planning on experimenting with the music but it’s still a work in progress. What’s nice about starting this, is that there is a whole world of opportunities. There’s a lot of different ways it can go with what instruments he [Isaac] plays, what kind of style music he does. Right now, we’re just barely introducing that he’s into music.”

On what he’s doing during his mini-hiatus: “Working on some films, my own music. Definitely going to keep up with that. I also have my production company so we’re working on different projects there.

On what TV show he’d love to guest star on: “I’d say either True Blood or Family Guy.

Make A Wish Foundation

Posted by chel | Club Corbin Bleu News | Saturday 2 May 2009 6:18 pm

Make A Wish FoundationMake A Wish Foundation made a dream come true for 7–year–old Amare Pollard. Amare was born early and suffers from chronic lung disease, according to www.week.com.

“Amare’s wish was to meet and spend time with Corbin Bleu from High School Musical. So they provided for us an all-inclusive, all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles, California a year ago. We actually spent an entire afternoon with Corbin Bleu. Amare got to eat with him, talk to him, even touch his hair,” said Michelle Pollard, Amare’s mother.

“Something that probably wouldn’t have been able to happen otherwise. It was just amazing to see the look on his face,” said Amare’s father, Wess Pollard.

“It was like, I never been to California, or met an actual movie star,” said Amare.

It sounded like Amare had a great time with Corbin.

Corbin Bleu is Obsessed

Posted by chel | Club Corbin Bleu News | Saturday 18 April 2009 10:45 am

Corbin Bleu is obsessed with “Free Styling,” according to www.aceshowbiz.com

“I’ve become obsessed with the sport. I love it,” Corbin Bleu tells BlackBook magazine how much he has a love for motocross. “It’s incredible to watch, and I go to all the races now. I have a bike, a Kawasaki 250. I love riding and have a few friends that ride as well, and we go all the time,” he reveals further.

So did Corbin learn to ride for his new moive?

“Free Style,” I did ride. My character rides three different bikes. One of them is his dirt bike, of course. He also rides a Honda Nighthawk as his means of transportation. And he’s a pizza delivery guy, so he rides a Vespa. I got a chance to ride all three. I trained enough to be comfortable on the bike and be able to ride, but I’m not of the caliber of the real racers, so I didn’t do any stunts, but I did ride a lot in the film.”

Corbin Interview

Posted by chel | Club Corbin Bleu News | Saturday 11 April 2009 7:34 am

Here are some few questions from Eiseley Tauginas, writer for www.blackbookmag.com, in a interview.

The video for “Moments that Matter” opens with you playing piano. Do you play any other instruments?

I don’t. I just play piano, but I want to learn guitar and saxophone really badly, especially the saxophone. I love the saxophone. I think it’s just a really beautiful, sexy-sounding instrument.

What’s on your iPod right this second?

Every day I go through a different phase because I enjoy all different types of music, but right now I’m in my reggae mood. I’m just in a chill mood. When I’m driving around I’m listening to a lot of Bob Marley and the Wailers. I get my satellite radio on and tune in to The Joint.

What’s your craziest fan story?

We were in France for the High School Musical 3 premiere, and anything surrounding High School Musical is nuts. It’s just absolutely crazy. We did a signing, and once we got back in the car to drive away, the car was surrounded and there were literally people on top of the car, banging on the car and banging on the windows. We felt like we were gonna get attacked, they were almost smashing through the car, it was like Dawn of the Dead.

Do you consider yourself a role model?

How can I answer that without sounding like a complete pompous asshole? Obviously there’s a lot of younger kids that look up to us, and people are interested. Any time you’re in some sort of spotlight, you have a duty to set some sort of example, and we’re all pretty good people. We all tend to be positive and optimistic and try to do as much as we can, you know, to be good role models.

Will you please describe your dream girl?

When I meet her, I’ll let you know.

Now that you’re embarking on your music career, do you have any ultimate rock star fantasies?

I’ve always loved magic, and I’m all about the entertainment factor of shows. I’m very much into being onstage having you be surprised, and wonder, “How did he do that?” Or, “How did they come up with that?”

Where do you go out?

To be honest, I don’t really go out to bars and clubs in LA, that much. Restaurants are good. I like hole-in-the-wall places, but I like restaurants in New York more. I love Morton’s. Good lobster at Morton’s. The Cheesecake Factory is awesome.

Starlight Children’s Foundation

According to www.send2press.com/newswire, Corbin Bleu is the new national spokesperson for Starlight Children’s Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization that helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.

“Corbin has been a tireless supporter of Starlight for several years, and since our mission is very close to his heart, we are confident that he will present Starlight impeccably to the public,” said Paula Van Ness, CEO of Starlight. “But also on a personal level, I’ve seen him interact with our children, and he has a way of making each child feel like he’s the only person in the room. That innate ability to connect heart-to-heart is Corbin’s greatest gift to our cause.”

“The work of Starlight is truly inspiring,” said Corbin. “It is a privilege for me to be able to represent an organization whose work has changed the lives of so many kids. I am proud to be representing them and their mission, but especially to participate in their amazing programs.”

Corbin has set up a website where is fans can help.

Corbin Bleu on Tyra Banks Show

Here are a few questions that Tyra asked Corbin on her show. Than the video is about them trying a products to see if they really work like they are suppose to.

I found the questions, answers and video on http://justjaredjr.buzznet.com.

On keeping in touch with his High School Musical friends: “They’re really cool. We all still talk. I saw Monique for New Years Eve…I talked to Vanessa a couple of days ago actually. They both called me on my birthday, which just passed… I just turned 20.”

On his own guilty pleasures: “I watch movies and cartoons. They are a little bit of my guilty pleasure.” (The last movie he watched was Wall-E!)

On what he looks for in a potential girlfriend: “I’m single…I don’t have a specific type. As long as you’re outgoing, as long as you’re honest.”

On meeting the First children, Malia and Sasha Obama: “It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. They asked me a week prior to do the show. I met the girls and they’re so sweet…It was pretty freaking cool. It’s a pretty cool President we’ve got there.”

Questions for Bleu

Posted by chel | Club Corbin Bleu News | Saturday 21 March 2009 9:43 am

Here are some few question Corbin Bleu did in a interview. The questions came off of www.fashion.ie highlights.

How old were you when you had your first kiss? “14. It was around Halloween season at Knott’s Berry Farm. I had a crush on her, and it happened on one of the rides, in the dark. I wasn’t quite expecting it at first. I had no idea what I was doing.”

Who’s your celebrity crush? “Angelina Jolie. I love everything about her. She’s fierce, and she’s definitely a strong woman, but she’s still smart, and kind, and a humanitarian. She’s still got that bad girl side to her. Perfect, perfect girl. She’s taken, but it’s all good.”

What’s the girly movie you secretly love? “Is The Devil Wears Prada considered a chick flick? Every time I see it, I love it. And every time I tell someone I love that movie, they say “Really?!?” And I’m like, “Yeah, what’s wrong?” I love The Devil Wears Prada. I love Meryl Streep. She’s my favorite actress. Anne Hathaway does an incredible job, too. And the story is awesome.”

What’s your TV guilty pleasure? “Spongebob Squarepants. I watch movies and cartoons, that’s all I watch. It’s pretty bad.”

If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be? “Right now, it would be Barack! I would love to know what’s going through that man’s mind right now. I’d only want to be President for a day. It would definitely be a one-time deal. I’ve always been good when it comes to politics. When it comes to being political about certain subjects. I would like to be able to lead. But being able to lead from a presidential standpoint is a different story.”

What’s the fast food you can’t live without? “I just can’t live without French fries, period. Fast-food French fries, period! Whether they’re from Burger King or In & Out, KFC, I don’t care. All good.”
